A crash that left a big rig wrapped in power lines closed all lanes of the 5 Freeway in Burbank early Saturday, the CHP reported.
"We have a full freeway closure," CHP Officer Alex Rubio said. "We have a big rig wrapped in power lines in the southbound lanes and a big rig with power lines on it in the northbound lanes."
The northbound lanes were closed at Western and the southbound lanes at Verdugo Avenue. The CHP could not estimate when they would reopen.
The accident was reported at 1:04 a.m. in the southbound lanes, Rubio said. No injuries had been reported.
Burbank fire crews responded to the scene.
