A graphic security video purports to show former music mogul Suge Knight's truck running over two men in Compton in January, leaving one dead.
TMZ posted the video early Monday morning and says it shows Knight's red truck pull up to a hamburger stand. He appears to talk to several people standing nearby before backing up the truck and hitting one of the men, who falls motionless to the ground. Seconds later, the truck comes back and runs over the man on the ground and hits a second man before speeding away.
Knight is charged with running over two men with his car at Tam's Burgers in Compton on Jan. 29. Terry Carter, 55, died, and Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, was injured in the incident.
Prosecutors claim Knight intentionally ran the men over. Knight's one-time attorney said his client was assaulted and, while trying to get away from his attackers, accidentally ran the two men over. The tape does not appear to capture any assault.
The confrontation began when Knight and the victims began arguing on the set of "Straight Outta Compton," a biopic about the rap group N.W.A.
Knight was taken to a jail infirmary last week after saying in court that he couldn't "really comprehend" what was happening.
Knight has fired two attorneys in recent weeks.
At the court hearing Monday, Knight talked about his medical issues.
"Since I have been here," he said, "I've lost about 30 pounds."
As he stood in front of the judge, he shifted back and forth. "I can't really see," Knight said. "I can't really comprehend what's going on."
The video appears to have been taken from a hamburger stand security camera, however, its origin was unclear.
Knight also faces charges in a case in which prosecutors say he and comedian Katt Williams stole a camera from an independent celebrity photographer on Sept. 5, 2014.
